Have you ever wondered what all the processes were that go into making a Surveyor? We made a video just for you. It is a follow-along to see the movements of people and processes in our shop. It is not an in-depth "how it's made" (stay tuned for that!). It was a fun project and an invitation to see our people, place and process that produces every Surveyor frameset.
Our Toronto, Canada facility not only makes all our frames and forks, we also make the molds to make the parts, and the fixturing to prepare the parts, store them, paint them.... well, we do it all under one roof. This is rare in the industry. We're proud of it and it's something all of our customers have experienced as a unique feel and performance advantage over the status-quo.
One testimonial we like and have heard many times: "It is the best drop-bar bike I have ever ridden."
Watch the video and follow along as we go from machine shop to carbon layup, curing, part-prep, paint-prep, paint and assembly. Our staff will take you through it all.
And yes, this video is one shot from start to finish. No, we did not get it on the first try.
